About East Coast Lobsters
East Coast Lobsters was founded by husband and wife team Phil and Annabel. Combining a love of seafood with culinary skills, ECL was established in 2020 and delivers fresh seafood to customers who can enjoy restaurant quality food within the comfort of their own home.
Phil has a wealth of experience in the catering industry, starting here in East Lothian at the legendary Greencraigs hotel in Aberlady. Expanding on his culinary skills, Phil began working as a chef on super yachts catering for a diverse range of clients with many demanding requests.
Quickly promoted to Head Chef on 75m MY Northern Star, Phil travelled the world from Greenland to Panama and all over the Mediterranean for 12 years. Phil sampled the very finest produce and engineered menus to cater for the high standard of clientele.
The Lobster Hatchery
East Coast Lobsters have committed to support sustainable fishing by joining Firth of Forth Lobster Hatchery’s Buy One Release One membership scheme. This ensures the Firth of Forth lobster stocks continue to be replenished and will come from a more sustainable source. By protecting our local lobster populations, we will continue to gain the best, fresh, local lobsters with a minimal carbon footprint.
